The IT & Telecom industry within Almega signed an agreement with Sveriges Ingenjörer, Jusek and Civilekonomerna (the Academic Trade Unions) on April 12. The agreement is valid for three years, between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2016.
The most relevant changes in the agreement are described below.
For the three-year-period, the parties have agreed upon using the total of the agreement value of 6,8 % for salary increases.
As stated in previous agreements, the salary review is to be based on the company’s economic and market preconditions. If the employer and local labor union cannot agree, the salaries for the members of the Academic Trade Unions is to be increased by 2,0 % as of April 1, 2013, by 2,4 % as of April 1, 2014 and by 2,4 % as of April 1, 2015. The date for salary review is April 1 unless the local parties agree upon another date.
The parties have agreed on not doing any other changes in the salary agreement.
Conditions of employment
The parties have agreed on the following changes in the Conditions of Employment:
7 Parental pay and temporary childcare
The 4th subsection will have the following wording
Remuneration is provided for two such thirty days-periods. For an employee who has been employed by the employer three years uninterruptedly before the first day of parental leave, remuneration for six thirty days-periods are provided. No remuneration is paid on salary sums exceeding 15 price base amounts.
For the third period (April 1, 2015 – March 1, 2016) the agreement can be terminated. Notice shall at the latest be given on September 30, 2014.
The parties of the IT & Telecom industries have agreed upon the following activities:
• Follow-up on the agreement (by the central parties)
• Salary conferences/education ahead of the salary review of 2014
• Examine the conditions of forming a mutually agreed application guideline
• Examine the conditions of union representatives
• Working environment (Telecom)
