Det kan framst\u00e5 som enkelt, men i praktiken upplever m\u00e5nga chefer en os\u00e4kerhet kring b\u00e5de vad som kan s\u00e4gas och hur det b\u00f6r uttryckas. R\u00e5det \u00e4r d\u00e4rf\u00f6r att vara rak, tydlig och st\u00e4lla \u00f6ppna fr\u00e5gor. Ofta handlar det om att inte tala f\u00f6r mycket sj\u00e4lv, utan att v\u00e5ga ge utrymme f\u00f6r svar, \u00e4ven om tystnaden blir l\u00e5ng. S\u00e4tt dig p\u00e5 h\u00e4nderna och var tyst, brukar jag s\u00e4ga ibland till chefer. I vissa fall kan fr\u00e5gan beh\u00f6va upprepas. Vissa situationer \u00e4r s\u00e5 allvarliga att arbetsgivaren inte beh\u00f6ver t\u00e5la dem, \u00e4ven om de enbart intr\u00e4ffar en g\u00e5ng. Det kan exempelvis handla om hot, v\u00e5ld, hot om v\u00e5ld eller ekonomiska oegentligheter. Andra situationer handlar om \u00e5terkommande missk\u00f6tsamhet d\u00e4r tydlighet och konsekvens \u00f6ver tid \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande. Det inneb\u00e4r att lyssna p\u00e5 medarbetarens version, g\u00e5 igenom vilka \u00e5tg\u00e4rder som redan vidtagits och s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla att det finns dokumentation som st\u00f6djer bed\u00f6mningen.
