Arbetsgivaren f\u00e5r ge ett anst\u00e4llningserbjudande men m\u00e5ste innan dess bland annat utannonsera tj\u00e4nsten i Sverige och inom EU\/EES och Schweiz under minst tio kalenderdagar. Ett arbetstillst\u00e5nd tar vanligtvis sex till tolv m\u00e5nader att f\u00e5 och har en m\u00e4ngd krav. En person som befunnit sig i Sverige kan f\u00e5 svenskt k\u00f6rkort, men det s\u00e4ger inget om medborgarskap eller r\u00e4tten att vistas eller arbeta i Sverige. Kontrollera alltid personens medborgarskap genom att ta del av pass eller nationellt ID-kort.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Det r\u00e4cker inte heller att enbart kontrollera samordningsnummer, som Skatteverket utf\u00e4rdar f\u00f6r personer som uppburit l\u00f6n eller annan ers\u00e4ttning i Sverige. Det kan likna ett personnummer men s\u00e4ger inget om r\u00e4tten att vistas och arbeta i Sverige.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>T\u00e4nk \u00e4ven p\u00e5 att m\u00e5nga tillst\u00e5nd \u00e4r tillf\u00e4lliga och att det \u00e4r vanligt att de f\u00f6rsta tv\u00e5 \u00e5ren endast ger r\u00e4tten till att arbeta p\u00e5 ett visst f\u00f6retag. Det \u00e4r d\u00e4rf\u00f6r viktigt att k\u00e4nna till regelverket och ha rutiner vid rekryteringen f\u00f6r kontroll, dokumentation och anm\u00e4lan\u00a0.
